We are sorry for the ongoing delays and issues with the webtool and we appreciate your patience. We understand that the transition has not been the smoothest. We are working with a third party developer to update the webtool and make these dataset changes. Due to the sensitive nature of patient data, we have only been able to extensively test exports and imports once the webtool went live.
Ongoing issues
The issues below are all currently being investigated by the web developers. We will let you know when they have been fixed. Please see the “Action” column for what you should do in the meantime.
This list only shows the highest priority issues, not issues relating to the look/feel of the webtool, however please rest assured that these have also been logged.
When raising issues with the helpdesk please ensure you include a record number (if relevant) as this will help the team and the developers solve issues faster.
Dataset |
Issue |
Action |
Inpatient (Importing) |
For any true/false fields, you can’t enter 0/1 as the import spec suggests. Unable to import patient names with apostrophes. |
You need to put TRUE/FALSE (or leave blank) in the import file. You would need to enter patients with these names manually or amend manually in the record. |
Inpatient |
For inpatient strokes, 1.13 initial arrival does not allow dates more than 28 days before the onset. |
This is not a bug, but the way the tool is designed. For inpatient strokes 1.13 is not used in any calculations. The clock-start will be the onset time, therefore for 1.13 we suggest to enter 1 day before the onset. |
Recently resolved issues
These issues have recently been fixed by the web developers and we are unable to recreate them. If you still have this issue please contact the helpdesk and provide details of which of these issues it is and a record number(s) or team name(s) it relates to so we can report it swiftly.
Dataset | Issue | Fix |
Organisational Audit |
Data wiping from section 8, Sections now appearing and auto populating as they should.
|
A fix has been put in place, this issue was caused by several factors:
|
Inpatient | Sections 1- 3: Questions are not appearing based on validations unless save and validate is selected |
This has now been fixed |
Organisational audit |
Question 9.8 The question wording on the webtool is incorrect. It should show: "Who usually makes the decision that there is a large vessel occlusion on CTA imaging prior to transferring for thrombectomy? Select one option for in hours and one option for out of hours "
|
The correct question wording now shows. |
Organisational audit | For Section 6 Research, if you select Yes for 6.5 and then No, the section will remain amber and ask for 6.5a-6.5aviii to be answered, even though they won't display. | This has now been fixed |
Inpatient (importing) |
There is an issue with the columns S02Lock, S02_1Lock and S03Lock - usually you would be able to leave these empty and the record would import or choose to ignore these fields.
Records with an error in the import file do not import however the import email may say the record has been imported and provide a record ID. |
These need to be entered as TRUE or FALSE to import successfully.
Fixed. No more emails giving wrong information. |
All |
Comments entered will disappear after clicking save and validate |
This is now fixed. |
Six Months | Records started by community teams cannot have their 6M assessments completed because S1 asks for arrival date at the first hospital. | This is now fixed - records started in the community can now be completed via the 6m look-up tool. |
Inpatient | IDs transferred for thrombectomy are not displayed in Exports | This is now fixed. Transferred records should now appear in the exports |
Six months |
Records remain stuck in archive after deletion request |
This is now fixed. |
Inpatient |
Records can be transferred to community dataset even if locked just to 72hrs |
This is now fixed. |
Inpatient |
An incorrect error message is appearing in section 3 saying the date and time of assessments "cannot be over 72hrs from the arrival date and time" |
This is now fixed and the validation is working correctly. |
Inpatient | Records which are locked to discharge are still showing as orange on search page. | While this is frustrating and confusing it should not prevent you from completing and transferring records. While this is being investigated, it can usually be fixed by exiting and re-entering the record. |
Inpatient | Unable to transfer record as completed sections are showing as 'required'. |
While the developers work on fixing this, please try the steps below: -Exit and re-enter the record -Log out and log back in -Unlock the record (and try steps above) If the record has been transferred then request it is transferred back and the first team check all times entered are correct before transferring the record back to you. |
Inpatient & Community |
Issues with reversing record transfers. Some early records are not able to be edited or re-transferred once reversed back to the previous team even when unlocked. |
This should not happen with records transferred after 16th December. For records transferred before this date, please send the record number to the helpdesk who will be able to fix this issue for you now. |
