This is how you unlock a record.
Clicking on edit will allow you to enter the record and unlock.
To unlock sections 1-3, ensure you are in section 1, 2, 2.1 or 3. The "Request Section Unlock" button will then appear. If the record is locked to discharge, you will need to unlock sections 4-7.
Click on 'Request Section Unlock'.
To unlock sections 4-7, ensure you are in sections 4, 5, 6 or 7. The "Request Section Unlock" button will the appear to enable you to request either sections 4-7 alone are unlocked OR sections 1-7 are unlocked.
Click on 'Request Section Unlock'.
A message will pop up, click confirm and you can also include any additional notes if needed. If you are unlocking from sections 4-7 you can also choose whether you wish to unlock just sections 4-7 or all sections (1-7).
Once confirmed the request button should look like this.
After the unlock request has been actioned, you will receive an email. Please note that unlock requests may take 24hours to be completed.
Tip: Records should only be locked once clinical sign-off has been received.

If you still cannot unlock the record, then contact the SSNAP helpdesk at ssnap@kcl.ac.uk with the patient ID, and which section of the record you need to be unlocked.
