What does it show?
SSNAP Slidedecks provide helpful visualisations of SSNAP results. Clear and effective graphs show how teams have performed in SSNAP's key indicators, domains and other important measures.
Slidedecks are available at a team level, as well as a regional level. The regional level slides are divided into 'Routinely admitting teams' (these are stroke services which initially admit patients), 'Non-routinely admitting teams' (these are acute stroke services which do not directly admit the majority of their patients), and 'ESD and Community Teams' (these are teams in the community after discharge).
How can you use it?
Team level slidedecks can be used to clearly view visualisation of your stroke service's most recent SSNAP data. You can clearly see trends in the performance of all 44 key indicators, as well as the 10 SSNAP Domains, all against the national average. These slideshows can be used to present at team meetings, or even to commissioners.
Regional level slidedecks are extremely useful for comparisons between services. The same data is provided as at team level, but these outputs are publically available and show teams directly alongside each other. If other teams in your area are performing better in certain areas, it would be a good idea to contact these teams for advice and quality improvement tips.
Key information on Audit Compliance is also available, therefore these slides are a very useful place to view the components where your audit compliance score can be improved.
