An export is the raw data that has been input into the webtool under clinical case management or imported into the SSNAP webtool. The data in the export is used for KCL data analysis centrally, but it can also be used for analysis locally. Hospitals/teams should always check the data that is entered into the webtool; the export file can be used to double‐check the records, particularly before data submission deadlines for SSNAP reports.
All files will be encrypted to the AES-256 standard and require a password. In order to open the file you will need to use a tool like 7-zip (www.7-zip.org) that allows AES-256 encrypted files to be opened (AES-256 zip files cannot be opened in windows). You will need to extract the files from the zip
folder before opening them in order to view them.
Only patient records that have been locked or closed can be exported from the webtool. The data is exported as a CSV file, a type of file that opens in Excel; you can save it as an Excel file if you prefer. Information on how to export can be found below:
An export button is available on the top banner of the screen when logged into Casecapture:
Once on the relevant page, enter a password that is at least 8 characters
You then have to select from the various date fields for the export and enter a date range. The most common is export by date record was created or by date of onset/awareness of symptom:
Once you have completed the above you can now export your team's 'locked study data'.
